What Is The StraightAway School?
For 90% of amateur golfers, the fastest way to becoming a more consistent player is to fix your takeaway. This basic fundamental has been a major component of David Leadbetter’s lifelong golf philosophy and is why he invented this ingenious swing aid and the StraightAway school. Hosted at the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy World HQ in Orlando Florida, the StraightAway school is a half-day (3-hour) school designed to help you master your takeaway, and gain the necessary foundation for a better golf swing. During this focused golf school, you will receive personalized instruction on your grip and which of the eight common takeaway faults you fall into. With guided education and the use of the Leadbetter Glove and David’s game-changing StraightAway, you are sure to leave the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy with, as David calls it, a Tour Takeaway. The results will be improved ball striking with the most straightforward concept and swing keys you have ever had.
The 8 Common Takeaway Faults
- 1. Whipping the clubhead straight inside
- 3. Pushing the hands away, then the club head then going out and up
- 5. Rolling the clubface open straight off the ball
- 7. Fake Takeaway, Moving the club away
