Chris Murtagh

Chris started playing Golf when he was invited to join the Wentworth Scholarship Foundation in 1996. As an amateur player he competed at the County, National and International Levels for England.
Chris went on to complete his BSc Sports Science degree at Loughborough University in 2005 before proceeding to play professionally. As a touring professional, Chris competed on the Europro, Alps Tour and European Challenge Tour.
He became a PGA Qualified Professional in 2012 and currently holds AA/T status. Additionally, Chris is a Certified Leadbetter Instructor as well as a Trackman Level 2 Instructor.
As the Director of Instruction at Stoke Park, he currently works with golfers of all abilities to create a holistic coaching program to fully customize the needs of each of his players. He works with a large range of levels, from beginngers to elite amateur players and Tour professionals.
Along with his coaching abilities, he has also been heavily involved in developing the Stoke Park Scholarship Program which offers a fantastic opportunity for junior golfers to develop their game by taking advantage of the world-class practice facilities at Stoke Park.
