Antonio (Nico) Luiz Chaves Barcellos is a highly experienced golf professional with more than 30 years of involvement in the sport as a player, coach, and leader. A Class A Professional certified by the Brazilian Golf Confederation, he built a distinguished competitive career between 1990 and 2002, competing on the Brazilian, South American, and Asian Tours, supported by one of the most successful amateur records in Brazilian golf history.

He later transitioned into high-performance coaching and leadership, serving as Head Professional at some of Brazil’s most prestigious clubs and currently at Porto Belo Golf All Resort. Antonio also led national development programs and served as Technical Director and Head Coach of the Brazilian Golf Confederation, contributing to major international achievements, including Brazil’s victory at the Copa Los Andes.

With extensive experience in elite player development, tournament governance, and international competition, Antonio has represented Brazil at major multi-sport events, including the Olympic and Pan American Games. He is recognized for his expertise in modern performance analysis and advanced training technologies, working with players at all stages of development.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, Antonio continues to contribute to the growth of golf through coaching excellence, education, and international collaboration.
