Patrick was born 1985 in Winsen Luhe, Germany. In his youth as a passionate and talented footballer, Patrick played with the famous Hamburg SV. The early exit from top class football due to a knee injury focused his sights on his golf career.

Patrick competed throughout Europe in junior tournaments as a successful amateur player . Patrick decided to turn professional after he finished school at the age of 18. He went on to play competitive golf for 1 Year. After playing on several mini-tours throughout Europe, Patrick soon realized that his main passion was to help other players develop their true potential. Through his constant efforts to improve himself technically and his natural dedication to instructing golf, he realised that his primary interest lies in communicating his passion on to players of all abilities.

Patrick became a teaching professional in 2003 at the Green Eagle Resort in Hamburg, Germany, and during this time became a fully-qualified PGA Golf Instructor. Patrick was honored to receive an offer to join The Leadbetter Golf Academy in the winter of 2005 and went on to complete his Leadbetter Certification in late 2006. He passion for teaching, especially young upcoming players, led Patrick to his position as Director of Junior Golf at LGA Hamburg in 2007.

In 2009, Patrick was asked to be the Academy Director at LGA Timmendorfer Strand, Germany, which he accepted.

In 2011, he was asked to could help to rebuild the oldest Leadbetter Golf Academy in Europe, which was in Bad Tatzmannsdor, Austria.  Before long, he would go on to become the Academy Director for LGA Austria.

In 2012, Patrick was asked to move to China to work with Andy Leadbetter. This was obviously a big change, but Patrick took advantage of the opportunity and joined the team at the Leadbetter Golf Academies in Shenzhen where he continues to help grow the game of golf in China.
