Will Byrne | Certified GLA Instructor

Originally from Ireland, Will Byrne is a PGA of Canada Professional. After taking up the game at the age of 12 he found a passion for golf and was part of a provincial title winning team for his local golf club at the age of 16. Will went on to play on the competitive amateur championship circuit in Ireland as well as winning another provincial title playing for his local golf club.

Will then decided to move across the water and began working at the Fairmont Château Whistler Golf Club.   Not long after that decided to turn professional, joining the PGA of Canada. It was here where he began to pursue his big passion for teaching and also where he began taking lessons from Matt Denzer at The Golfzon Leadbetter Academy – Whistler. Based on how much he enjoyed the Leadbetter coaching experience and his love for Whistler, Will decided to become a Leadbetter Certified Instructor and is incredibly excited to be part of the Leadbetter Golf Academy coaching team.
