Partnership Vision

The Leadbetter vision is simple: grow the number of well-educated golf coaches and empower players through holistic education.

  • We educate and certify golf coaches, volunteers and PE teachers to increase overall participation in golf via mass participation projects in schools and other educational / sports facilities
  • We develop holistic, individualized programs that teach golfers grit, determination, character, tenacity, sportsmanship and life skills
  • We provide education about selecting and attending US colleges to create international opportunities for elite junior golfers
  • And we educate coaches and students alike to serve as role models to the next generation of golfers

Partnership Objectives

Coach Education

  • Development of online coach education on Leadbetter’s LMS platform:
  • GLA to host specific courses within GOLFZON Leadbetter Education platform
  • GLA to provide educational guidance, training and implementation
  • GLA to provide content, curriculum and training materials in English and/or local language
  • GLA to provide training and certification of coaches and curriculum for teaching golf through mass participation projects:
  • GLA to grant Leadbetter Instructor status to one (1) mutually selected local coach to ensure internal program leadership
  • GLA to provide training to PE teachers and volunteers to deliver Leadbetter Kids (LK) program in schools alongside Snag Equipment / Golphin Equipment (partner is free to choose equipment)
  • GOLFZON Leadbetter licenses allow locations to serve as official GLA training centers
  • Access to proprietary CRM to manage LK program execution

Player Education

  • Access to co-branded learning space on and off the course
  • Dedicated Leadbetter Master Instructor for remote coaching, training and development
  • GLA experts in fitness and performance, mental game, golf equipment, college prep, tour prep and more available via monthly training sessions
  • Players may utilize GLA student app to stay in touch with their Leadbetter Instructors and locally assigned coaches
  • Access to all educational webinars, seminars and live online education provided by GLA
  • GLA to host special training camps held locally or at GLA HQ in Reunion Resort at a mutually agreed upon frequency with a designated Leadbetter Instructor
