Carlo Alberto Acutis has been teaching golf for over 30 years. During his remarkable amateur career, he played in the Italian national team for 7 years and 4 years in the college team at Miami University, from where he graduated. He then turned pro and played all over the world before setting up the first golf academy in Italy in 1992.

His determination to constantly improve himself as a player and a coach has taken him on several occasions to the USA, where he was able to interact with the country’s most renowned coaches including Haney, Mc Lean and Ken Venturi.
It was in 1986 that he met David Leadbetter for the first time, who visited his academy in Italy on a number of occasions.

In recent years, he has devoted his time and attention to golf putting, a passion he shares with Phil Kenyon and Paul Hurrion.

Over the past 10 years, he has competed in several Senior Tour competitions and qualified 3 times for the Senior Open Championship.

He is also the Head Golf Professional at Evian Resort Golf Club.
