Featured Academy: LGA Crystal Springs

LGA Crystal Springs

The Leadbetter Golf Academy, opened in May of 2011 at the beautiful Crystal Springs Resort, is the primary base of operations in the Northeast United States. Led by Senior Instructor Tom Reynolds, LGA Crystal Springs offers a wide range of game improvement programs and experiences designed by David Leadbetter himself, including private lessons, golf schools, junior programs and our new Play Better Experience.

Intended for players seeking the ultimate golf getaway, the Play Better Experience is a highly intensive two-day game improvement program featuring more than 10 hours of instruction on both technique and on-course strategy.

Another recent addition, the Leadbetter Kids program run by LGA’s Mary Beth Kohberger is based on David’s holistic approach to golf instruction and taught through an experiential learning environment. Juniors learn physical, mental and social skills through activity stations focused on establishing golf fundamentals and life skills.

Participants of the Leadbetter Kids Spring League are grouped with other golfers their age and have the opportunity to sharpen their scoring and competition skills during weekly matches at the Robert Trent Jones-designed Minerals Golf Club. Summer camps are also offered for children ages 7-16, with a limited number of spots available to allow for an individualized experience for each student.
